Yes, the app is developed to profile real dive possibilities. If you enter a greater depth with insufficient gases, then the app will highlight the validation error and ask you to reduce the depth or select different cylinders/mixtures.

The Decosoft diving app is primarily developed for more complex and challenging decompression dives. However, it also contains a number of useful calculators that recreational divers will appreciate. For example, the MOD calculator will help to calculate very quickly the maximum operational depth at different nitrox mixtures.

The Decosoft app is gradually being offered to divers in many other countries and continents. The app is currently available in Czech, English and Spanish. Switching languages is possible in the application menu via the three lines on the top left. You can also choose between metric or imperial units.

The Decosoft application was developed directly by a tech diver, originally for his own diving. The development is based on the reliable BÜHLMANN ZHL-16C decompression algorithm. This algorithm, whose main priority is the safety of the diver, takes into account the current depth, time and breathing mixture and determines how the mixture enters and exits the body depending on pressure changes. Note, however, that diving in general requires great caution and discretion. The Decosoft app is only a tool to facilitate dive planning and preparation. However, it does not assume responsibility for the safety and health of the diver himself.
